1 - Do you swim?
Yes! I love swimming and bringing the fantasy of a mermaid into children’s reality. I am available to swim up to one hour. After that, I need a break to stretch my tail!
2 - Is it safe to swim?
Upon following my mermaid safety rules, yes! I require a ratio of 1 adult per 3 children to be present while I swim. This is to ensure the safety of not only the children but me too! If your child is not a strong swimmer please take precautions with a life jacket or floaties. I’m a mermaid not a life guard!
3 - Where do you “transform” ?
Fintastic question! The client is required to provide a private place for me to transform in close proximity to the entertainment area. A lot of moms have cleared a space in their garage for me so I can make a discrete entry and exit. I want to keep the magic alive for your little ones! It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to fully transform and I’m ready to splash!
4 - How do you get around?
Sometimes I have a Mer-Handler with me to do the heavy lifting. My Mer-Handler is responsible for getting me around and assisting me with any mermaid related needs. Otherwise I get a strong volunteer, a wagon, or I simply “transform” in the entertainment area. That is my favorite because it’s definitely the easiest!
5 - How do you get around?
I am available to swim in the bay, ocean and pools! Please keep in mind prices vary from each body of water and to please inquire with any public pool before hiring. A large majority of public pools do not allow mermaids. I know, such a bummer!
6 - What do you typically do at parties?
I typically begin with a Meet & Greet, Story Time, Photos and last but not least Swim Time! My current rates cover up to 1 hour. Although if you have ideas in mind that require more than an hour, I’m open to it!
